It’s a great way to spend a Saturday morning with family and friends, surrounded by nature, birds, and people who share a passion for the Texas coast. A very special THANK YOU to the Gulf Coast Bird Observatory, Bob, who mans the tower and spends approximately 3½ months each year counting and monitoring migrating birds, and to all the dedicated volunteers who donate their time and countless hours to help make Smith Point Hawk Watch and this annual celebration possible.
